I will commiserate with you.
When my son went to K, I followed the bus to school to make sure he got there all right.
Okay, I was also going through some tough times as far as health, so I was a bit over the top.
But it's hard.
When dd went, I just put her on the bus and went back inside.
Since ds was there, I didn't worry so much.
Now, I don't worry at all but I am an old hand at it and I work at the school so they know where I am if they need me! (7th and 5th grade this fall - how did that go by so quickly - I think I really just put him on the bus to K like YESTERDAY!)

Omg, I just hate this. The feeling of school starting every year just tears me apart...especially that first year. I'm not gonna sugarcoat it for ya....it isn't easy at all! It will be a very emotional day, and you are allowed to cry. Call me if you want to....I'll cry with you. lol

Evan is starting a new elementary school for 2nd grade, and I am so nervous about it. I already have anxiety keeping me up at night when I lie awake thinking of how Aaron will be starting Kindergarten next year. Makes me sick to my stomach...seriously.

Our babies are growing up, mamas. It ain't easy....it's not supposed to be. But at least we have a great support system here, and moms have been going through this for hundreds of years...so if they can get through it, so can we, right? ;)

It doesn't get any easier either. Growing pains are hard...esp for the mama's.
He's going to love it Krissy and I have no doubt that he will do great.
Big Big Hugs.

I know he will do great too - its ME I'm worried about - but "Uncle Derrick" will be there to serve as photographer/drinking partner too...
